Police and charities appeal to help finding missing boys
CONCERN has grown for the whereabouts of two teenage boys from Skelmersdale who have separately gone missing.
James McKeown, 14, was last seen in Heysham, Lancashire on Friday, December 15, 2017, at approximately 10.15am, and was previously reported as missing by Lancashire Constabulary.
James is from Skelmersdale, but police believe that he has links to Merseyside.
Inquiries have indicated that he may have since been in the Kirkdale area of Liverpool and the Crosby area of Sefton.
James is described as white, 5ft 4in and slim, with short, curly, dark brown hair, and has a Liverpool accent.
When he was last seen, he was wearing a black North Face top, a black waterproof coat, tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap.
Concern is also growing for Thomas Williamson, 16, last seen in the Kestrel Park area of Skelmersdale on January 4, 2018.
The teenager is described as white, 5ft 10in and slim with light brown hair.
He was wearing a black hooded coat, black tracksuit pants, black trainers and a black balaclava when last seen.
Police are growing concerned for his welfare and urging anyone with information about Thomas to come forward.
PC Dave Woollam, of Skelmersdale Police, said: “I would appeal for anyone who sees Tom or knows where he might be to get in touch. I would also appeal directly to Tom to contact us to let us know he is safe.”
Anybody with information about Thomas should contact police on 101, quoting log number 0151 of January 4.
Anyone who has seen either boy or knows their whereabouts is urged to contact 101 or the Missing People Charity on 116000.
