The best of elf is wished to everyone

-

FROM the youngest to the oldest Stocks Hall residential home worked very hard raising money for charity recently.

Elf Day encouraged schools, colleges and other organisation to unleash their inner elf and fundraise for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The team of not so little elves worked around the clock to ensure all their work was completed for Santa’s approval.

Santa flew in to say hello at their event, saying: “keep up the good work” and reminded his team that he would be returning to check work has been up to the usual elvesellent standards.

All money will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society which will go towards improving diagnosis, care and treatment, and finding a cure for the condition.

Gel Ball, the elves manager, said: “Santa Ormskirk’s team are amazing, they didn’t stop, their hard work continued right through the night.

“When Santa returned for his audit, he found their work to be ‘above elvesellent standard’.

“This was music to our elf ears. We are really proud to support this fun Christmassy event, however, the most important thing was raising awareness in our local community of Alzheimer’s and dementia, which affects so many people.”
