MR SAVAGE at Farmaggedon has been back at work this year to build on the UK’s ultimate scare attraction.

Since the terrifying farm first opened, it has been one of the best attractions of its kind in the country.

Now, more than a decade on, Mr Savage has added even more to the Hallowe’en event to make it even scarier.

The gates of hell open from late September until the end of October, but the Advertiser went along for a preview to find out what guests can expect.

Farmaggedon is the brainchild of Mark Edwards and the experience at Farmer Ted’s, in Downholland, is known for selling out with thousands of visitors every year.

It is an indoor and outdoor interactive attraction consisting of three scare houses, a secret maze, outdoor zombie paintballing, The House of Rock and a zombie nightclub.

There is no “safe place” in Farmaggedon, so, even when you’re having a break, beware of the roaming ghouls.

This year, the original attraction, Terror on the Farm, has morphed into The Beast of Terror, and there is a whole new attraction – The Maze.

The petrifying Meat Locker has also been reworked and fitted with extraterrifying additions.

While Contagion and The House of Rock have some surprises up their spooky sleeves, too.

Last year’s newest feature, Freak Street, is also back with its Zombie Night Club of fire eaters, magicians, flash-mobs and surprise guests throughout the night.
