Community Link Foundation
COMMUNITY Link Foundation had a successful 2018 and is now looking forward to building on that success in the new year.
The charity which raises funds for local groups and individuals is hoping that people will get behind it more than ever in the year ahead and help raise money to distribute throughout the community.
It also wants to raise awareness so the charity can help more people in need.
Enda Rylands, chairman of Community Link Foundation, said: “We would like to wish all our friends and supporters a very Happy New Year.
“We are so grateful to everyone who has given us their time and support during 2018 and has been there to help with fundraising or offering a helping hand where needed.
“Thank you to all of the companies who continue to sponsor us and spread the word about what CLF does.
“2018 has been a successful year for the charity and we have been able to give out grants to some very deserving applicants.
“We are looking forward to more great events in 2019 and hope to be able to help even more people and organisations.”
With lottery wins featuring in the news this week, Community Link Foundation would like to remind people about its own lottery called the 600 Club and every month one person wins £1,000.
An additional five people win £100 each month.
While winning could give you a nice boost after Christmas, it will also help to raise funds that it can give to good causes in Southport, Ormskirk, Formby and the surrounding areas.
It costs just £5 per month and only 600 people are allowed in the club.
The money that is raised through the 600 Club is then used to go towards the grants that are given out around the area.
