COM­MU­NITY Link Foun­da­tion had a suc­cess­ful 2018 and is now look­ing for­ward to build­ing on that suc­cess in the new year.

The char­ity which raises funds for lo­cal groups and in­di­vid­u­als is hop­ing that peo­ple will get be­hind it more than ever in the year ahead and help raise money to dis­trib­ute through­out the com­mu­nity.

It also wants to raise aware­ness so the char­ity can help more peo­ple in need.

Enda Ry­lands, chair­man of Com­mu­nity Link Foun­da­tion, said: “We would like to wish all our friends and sup­port­ers a very Happy New Year.

“We are so grate­ful to every­one who has given us their time and sup­port dur­ing 2018 and has been there to help with fundrais­ing or of­fer­ing a help­ing hand where needed.

“Thank you to all of the com­pa­nies who con­tinue to spon­sor us and spread the word about what CLF does.

“2018 has been a suc­cess­ful year for the char­ity and we have been able to give out grants to some very de­serv­ing ap­pli­cants.

“We are look­ing for­ward to more great events in 2019 and hope to be able to help even more peo­ple and or­gan­i­sa­tions.”

With lot­tery wins fea­tur­ing in the news this week, Com­mu­nity Link Foun­da­tion would like to re­mind peo­ple about its own lot­tery called the 600 Club and ev­ery month one per­son wins £1,000.

An ad­di­tional five peo­ple win £100 each month.

While win­ning could give you a nice boost af­ter Christ­mas, it will also help to raise funds that it can give to good causes in South­port, Orm­skirk, Formby and the sur­round­ing ar­eas.

It costs just £5 per month and only 600 peo­ple are al­lowed in the club.

The money that is raised through the 600 Club is then used to go to­wards the grants that are given out around the area.
