Livvy’s Broken breakthrough

-

UP-AND-COMING artist Livvy K released her new single, called Broken, to coincide with Global Mental Health Awareness Day, on Thursday, October 10.

Broken is available on all platforms and the minidocumentary to accompany the single can be viewed on www.whoislivvyk.com

Livvy K has herself suffered with anxiety and depression, and wanted to create the song to help raise awareness of mental health issues.

All proceeds from the single will be split between two very worthwhile charities; MIND Lancashire / Staffordshire and MEN UNITE.

Commenting on the release of Broken, Livvy K said: “This new single is very personal to me, but I realised when writing it that maybe it could help someone else who may be going through a difficult time. People need to know they are not alone.

“The two charities I am supporting really do make a difference to people’s lives, and I hope the song can raise awareness and funds so their important work can continue.”

Livvy K is an 18-year-old up-and-coming artist from West Lancashire.

She has won Top Model UK, danced for one of America’s top touring bands, and is currently an international recording artist and heads back to Las Vegas to write and record more new songs and videos in a few weeks.

All of her seven released songs have been played on BBC Introducing Radio.

This year, she has played various gigs and festivals – and can’t wait to see what the future holds for next year.
