Learn all about feathered friends

The RSPB at Lochwinnoch will be hosting an event dubbed ‘Birds for Beginners’ tomorrow.

The workshop is ideal for introducing beginners to a fascinating hobby.

It’s a chance to learn more about common garden birds and pick up tips and advice on wildlife watching techniques.

After this, participants will head out onto the reserve to put new skills into practice and then top it off with a hot drink back at the centre.

The event will run from 11am to 1.30pm.

Admission for adults is £5, and it’s £3 for children.
