Students to give their views on town’s uni
The University of the West of Scotland’s (UWS) student survey season is under way.
Learners can give their views on their experiences at UWS by participating in one of the surveys.
The National Student Survey has now launched, and the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey and Postgraduate Research Experience Survey get underway on Wednesday.
The survey season gives students the opportunity to tell bosses about their experiences, positive and negative, and to give their ideas as to how UWS can improve on the service it provides.
UWS said it is looking to build on the positive results it achieved in last year’s student surveys, where the aircraft engineering, community education, forensic science, sport and exercise science and midwifery courses all came top in the UK for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2016.
Professor Craig Mahoney, principal and vice-chancellor of UWS, said:“Our students are key to all that we do at UWS and we put them at the heart of the institution.
“The survey season is a hugely important date in the university calendar as we are strongly committed to continually building on the excellent student experience already provided at UWS.
“These surveys provide us with an invaluable opportunity to gain important feedback from our students to enable us to make sure we are delivering just what they want and is relevant to them now.”
