BMW’s new eco champ
BMW’s 5 Series line-up is getting a new eco champion in the form of a 520d SE EfficientDynamics model.
Arriving in March, this latest variant will, says the German brand, offer the lowest fuel consumption and emission levels in its. segment.
The BMW 520d SE EfficientDynamics is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine featuring BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering a maximum power output of 190bhp and a peak torque figure of 400Nm.
Acceleration for the saloon is 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds, its Combined fuel consumption is 72.4mpg and CO2 emissions are just 102g/km.
And in order to keep emissions low, the car also gets BMW BluePerformance technology. It will be priced from £37,220.
