More than 100 players of all ages participated in the 2017 Paisley and District Tennis Championships played at the David Lloyd Club, Renfrew.

The brothers, top seeds, then teamed up in the men’s doubles to beat Matt Dickie and Craig Russell of the host club with a 6-1 6-2 final win.

Wishart soon made it a triple celebration when, partnered by Kilmacolm’s Julia Smith, he won the mixed doubles championship defeating David Lloyd’s Cedric Decuyper and Erin Russell 6-2 6-4 in an entertaining final in front of a large crowd of spectators.
