BankTwo fac­ing­card theft ‘theft’ charge case

Two men have been ar­rested af­ter al­legedly try­ing to use stolen bank cards in a Pais­ley shop.

The pair, aged 43 and 48, fled the town cen­tre store and boarded a bus af­ter be­ing chal­lenged on Fri­day af­ter­noon, it is claimed.

When of­fi­cers caught up with them and searched the duo, they were al­legedly found to be car­ry­ing bank cards and doc­u­men­ta­tion re­lat­ing to an ad­dress in Lin­wood Road Pais­ley.

Po­lice at­tended the home and found that it had been bro­ken into and items taken.

The two men are due to ap­pear at Pais­ley Sher­iff Court in con­nec­tion with theft. (Ad­ja­cent to Kwik Save car park, Pais­ley Road West)
