A touch of Texas at Feel The Groove

-

Music shop Feel The Groove is hosting an official album launch by criticallyacclaimed rocker Erin Bennet.

The Texan musician will release her latest offering with an acoustic set at the town centre record shop.

She recorded Post Sexy, Post Truth in Scotland and is embarking on a tour across the country to promote it.

A spokesman said:“Post Sexy, Post Truth features 12 original tracks which take listeners on a relentless journey.

“The hard-prog rock music adds an extra degree of intensity, locking listeners in for the 48-minute ride.

“Erin’s crunchy guitar sound and wide vocal range is woven onto a backdrop of driving bass tones, rumbling organs and intricate drumming.”

Erin has won plaudits from critics on both sides of the pond.

The Causeyside Street store has been hand-picked to launch the record.

It was recorded at Fort William’s Watercolour Studios and follows the release of debut ReFlowered three years ago.

Erin plays Paisley on February 10 at 1pm – entry is free.

She will also play Glasgow’s Oxfam Music; Europa Music in Stirling; the New Hellfire Club in Glasgow; Big Sparra Vinyl, Ayr; and The Venue, Dumfries.

Erin also takes to the stage at the Winter’s End Festival in Poole on February 24 with her EB Band.
