Appeal after site raided by thieves
Police are appealing for helping in tracking down thieves who stole tools worth more than £ 800 a Paisley building site.
Crooks targeted the Keepmoat Homes development, in Inchinnan Road, between December 21 and January 8, taking drills, saws and specialist equipment.
A container belonging to cont ractor Tough Construction was broken into over the festive period and number of items taken, including a Stihl saw, and a cordless Black and Decker drill.
Both items are engraved with the words Tough Construction.
The thieves also stole two specialist cable detectors from the cabin. The total value is estimated at £800.
A Po l i c e S c o t l a n d spokeswomen said: “We are investigating a theft of tools from a building site in Paisley.
“If you are offered any of these items for sale then I would ask that you contact police on 101.”
