-

Anyone interested in an apprenticeship or traineeship in the construction industry can head along to a careers evening.

Clark Contracts is offering 12 to 15 apprenticeships and traineeships in various trades, quantity surveying, contracts/site management, finance, administration, marketing, recruitment and HR.

The careers evening is being held in its head office in Paisley at 23 McFarlane Street, Paisley, on Tuesday, March 20, from 5.30pm till 7.30pm.

Anyone going along will be able to meet with the company’s academy manager, recruitment team and current employees to find out more about careers at the company and how they can progress through the company’s academy.

Partners from Glasgow Caledonian University, Edinburgh College, West College Scotland, City of Glasgow College and the Construction Industry Training Board will also be there.

Managing director Gordon Cunningham said:“Our careers evenings are an important part of our year with over 200 people attending in 2017.

“Having been awarded the Training Excellence award at the UK Construction News Awards in 2017, we are committed to people in the local community who want to forge a career in the construction industry.

“We very much look forward to meeting many of them in March.”
