Noise breach charges
A man is facing trial accused of making too much racket in his own home.
John McMenemy, 37, is charged with breaching noise rules at his flat and ignoring police orders to stop.
He made no plea when the case called at Paisley Sheriff Court.
McMe n e my faces allegations he ignored calls to be quieten down and began bawling at cops while brandishing a baseball bat at his home in Well Street.
He is also charged with resisting, hindering or obstructing two policemen called to the property on January 23.
Sheriff Colin Pettigrew continued the case until next month.
