Fab charity day raises thousands
Jae-Leigh’s amazing hair cut appeal is star attraction
A big- hearted Paisley schoolgirl has presented a cheque for a whopping £2,803 to the Little Princess Trust.
Eight- year old Jae- Leigh Montgomery posed with the bumper charity cheque to celebrate raising money for children suffering from hair loss as a result of cancer treatment or other illnesses.
The West Primary School pupil had 16 inches cut from her long locks earlier this year.
Now her family has managed to tally up the total raised by the generous youngster when she went for the chop and organised a charity fun day.
The event at St Peter’s Club, in Glenburn, included raffles, tombola stalls and football cards.
The family also set up an online fundraising page to help boost donations.
