Learn to go digital

Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce has a Digital Mentoring Group with Gary Ennis, from NS Design, tomorrow.

The breakfast session starts at 8am, and you can learn how to use Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin to help market your organisation and engage with customers. Digital marketing will also be covered including use of video, email and blogging.

This is a great opportunity for local organisations to learn from the best. Gary is an award winning digital marketer – and NS Design is a well-established and respected company in this field.

The group will meet three times, starting tomorrow morning at the chamber offices at Glasgow Airport.

Organisations must have been in business for a year and have aspirations to grow turnover.

Sessions continue on Wednesday July 25, with the final one on August 1.

There is also another Pitch and Roll Breakfast Networking event coming up at Hillington Park.

This takes place from 8am to 9.15am on Wednesday, September 5 and is free to attend for Renfrewshire Chamber members and Hillington Park tenants.

The venue is the Innovation Centre, 1 Ainslie Road, Hillington Park. The format includes arrival and tea/coffee and a breakfast roll from 8am to 8.30am.

Then from 8.30am to 9am you can deliver a two- minute“elevator pitch”to the audience. Book your slot now.

A chamber spokesman said:“This is an event for chamber members and tenants of Hillington Park. It is not essential to book an elevator pitch to attend; you can simply network on a more informal basis and listen to the pitches.”
