Meet Mhairi The case for Indy grows by the day

-

Last week, we saw Theresa May ruin Abba’s Dancing Queen forever but what we also saw from the Prime Minister at the Conservative conference was no clear direction for where our country is heading.

Tory and Labour in-fighting over Brexit are harming our economy, our prospects and Scotland’s future.

At this most critical time in the EU negotiations, it would appear that our choices under this UK Government are Theresa May’s doomed Chequers plan or a no-deal outcome.

It is absolutely vital now, more than ever, that we look towards what is best for the people of Scotland. A Scotland whose economy can grow and prosper, free of austerity, free of power grabs, free of xenophobia and free of the out-oftouch House of Commons. While we are tied down by the shackles of Westminster we will always be considered a lesser force in this United Kingdom.

We deserve better than the chaos and uncertainty that we are getting from Labour and the Tories on Brexit.

While the SNP get on with the day job in Holyrood with progressive policies that protect society’s most vulnerable and invest in our public services, the polar opposite is the case when it comes to the Tories in Westminster.

The case for an independent Scotland grows stronger by the day as we face Brexit, further austerity cuts and increased poverty as part of this sinking ship that is the United Kingdom.
