Man on heroin charge

A man faces claims he sneaked heroin into a hospital.

Steven Clark, 44, is charged with possession of the Class-A at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.

Prosecutors say he was on bail at the time of the alleged offence.

He was not present and made no plea when the case called at Paisley Sheriff Court.

It is alleged Clark had the opiate on September 8.

Sheriff Lindsey Kooner continued proceedings.
