Gang attack victim rushed to RAH with head injuries
Three thugs left a man in hospital with head injuries after a brutal early morning street attack.
The 26-year-old victim was battered in Mains River, Erskine, at 6am yesterday.
Seven cop cars flooded the area after members of the public reported the violent outburst.
Detectives say the victim was rushed by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where he was treated for several head injuries.
Detective Inspector Ross MacDonald told the Paisley Daily Express:“We are investigating after a 26-year-old man was seriously assaulted by three males in Mains River, Erskine, around 6am yesterday.
“He was treated for head injuries at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
“If you saw or heard the incident then I would urge you to contact police.
“A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
