Driver was three times the limit
A Paisley man has admitted driving while more than three-times the drink drive limit.
Craig Allen, of Hollows Crescent, was found to have 166 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood after driving in Alice Street, Paisley, in the summer.
When the 32-year-old appeared in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court, he pleaded guilty to breaking the Road Traffic Act 1988 by having more than the legal limit of 50mg per 100ml of blood in his system.
Sentencing was deferred for background reports to be prepared and Allen is set to learn his fate next month.
