An attack-minded midfielder, Lyons has impressed for Rovers’ Under-23s during the first half of the 2018-19 season, scoring three goals in 13 appearances for Damien Johnson’s side.

The bright prospect, who made over 100 appearances for Coleraine after progressing through their youth ranks, has trained with Rovers’first team in recent weeks.

It is believed that Kearney is keen to be re-united with the youngster, who has been linked with a move to Paisley since Kearney joined Saints.
