Dancing in the streets

The Active Communities charity has set up a fun Silent Disco to get people dancing in the streets.

It is being launched in Johnstone as part of the Feel Good Renfrewshire programme.

On Saturday, January 19 between 1pm and 3pm you can slap your headphones on and get your groove on at 16 Quarry Street.

Last year, Active Communities was given more than £200,000 from the Social Economy Growth Fund to run the two-year project, Feel Good Renfrewshire 2020.

With a focus on Linwood and Johnstone, the programme will see brand new projects aimed at getting more people involved in their communities.
