The northbound section of the road is to be shut off from Niddry Street to Netherhill Road between 8pm on Monday evening, to 6am on Wednesday morning.
Traffic is expected to be bad as a result of the closure, with the following alternative routes recommended as a diversion: Niddry Street, Renfrew Road, Wallneuk, Incle Street, Glasgow Road, Arkleston Road, Gallowhill Road, Marjory Drive, Netherhill Road, Renfrew Road.
The road serves as a key arterial route through the Gallowhill area of the town, linking the town centre to the M8 motorway in the north.
Abbotsinch Retail Park is located just off Renfrew Road, while West College Scotland is located on the road.
