Drivers warned of delays in village

Motorists travelling through Bishopton are warned to prepare for several road closures in the coming weeks.

Journeys may be affected while road repairs are undertaken, with drivers warned of potential disruption.

On Wednesday January 16, Drumcross Road will be closed from Old Greenock Road, northwards for a distance of 200m.

Rossland Crescent will be closed from Thursday, January 17, to Monday, January 21.

On the same dates Kingston Road will be shut off between Old Greenock Road and Laughpark Avenue.

And, also from Thursday, January 17, to Monday, January 21, Old Greenock Road will be closed from Old Ferry Road eastwards for a distance of 50m.

Emergency access will be maintained on all routes, while Councillor Natalie Don has taken to Facebook to list diversions and possible alternative routes in relation to each of the road closures.
