Losing never felt so good
Weight loss wonders win awards for sensational transformations
Three inspirational Paisley slimmers have been crowned the Greatest Losers after shedding an incredible 20 stones between them.
Stacey Hemphill,
Tracey McCaffery and Kerith Verlaque Easdon each succeeded in and surpassed their weight loss goals, transforming their lives while proving an inspiration to others who want to wave goodbye to extra weight.
The women attend the Slimming World group at Wallneuk North Church, in Abercorn Street, Paisley, led by consultant Sarah McElroy.
Sarah holds an annual Greatest Loser competition, with the title awarded to the slimmer who has shed the most weight throughout the year, in each session.
She said: “Our Greatest Loser competition is very special.
“The announcement of our winner is a real celebration of all that they — and all of the other members — have achieved by losing weight and making healthy changes to their lives.
“Lots of my members have seen improvements to their health and confidence and some people would say that slimming down has not only changed their life, it’s saved their life.”

Her ultimate goal was to be able to spend more time playing with her young grandson.
Tracey told the Express: “I only went to the class to support my daughter, who was trying to lose weight for my grandson’s Christening, and it started falling off.
“Before, I had a lot of pain in my knees.
“I look after my grandson now, but I don’t think I would have been able to cope with that if I was still the same weight.
“I have gone on to become a consultant myself — I’ve got a Slimming World group in Glenburn.”
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Stacey Hemphill dropped from 22 stones one pound to 15 stones 10 pound, going from a 24 to a 16 dress size, knowing her wedding day is on the horizon.
