Lots to do in Renfrewshire
With the school holidays here, it’s time to plan some great days out this summer.
Here are some great events to go and enjoy while keeping the kids amused:
Head to Bricks In Space in Paisley town centre, running from tomorrow until August 13.
Following on from the success of Jurassic Bricks last summer, LEGO will be marking the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with a space-themed LEGO Brick Space Trail.
The exhibition features 17 LEGO Brick models spread throughout town centre businesses.
The town centre will be divided into different galaxies with special hidden items that will orbit different businesses within each galaxy on a weekly basis.
Armed with their space passports, the mission for anyone following the trail will be to travel through the four galaxies to find all the space models.
Kids can enjoy Get Arty Summer Craft Camps at Bargarran Community Centre. Dates include:
July 1 to 2: Land of the Pharaohs Week with arts and crafts based around the theme of Egypt, Land of the Pharaohs.
July 8 to 10: Mardi Gras Week.
July 15 to 17: Sugar Skulls Week.
July 22 to 24: Mexican Fiesta Week. There are sessions for primary school children from 10am to 11.30am and secondary children up to fourth year from 11.30am to 1pm.
