Carers invited to Holyrood for forum
The seventh Carer s Parliament will be held in the autumn and people from Paisley can apply to attend.
This year the theme will be Diversity of Caring.
The day will celebrate the diversity of both carers and caring in Scotland.
It will also consider the impact of policy and legislation on carers’ lives, reflect on the challenges faced by carers, including those that are common and those of different groups of carers and share best practice.
Each local authority area will have two delegate places. Places will be awarded via a ballot that will be drawn by Carers Scotland in the week commencing Monday, August 12.
The event will be held at the Central Halls, Edinburgh, on Wednesday, October 30.
