Help your staff deal with grief

-

Paisley’s Accord Hospice will hold a special gathering.

The charity says every day someone is diagnosed with an illness that has no cure, and every day someone dies, leaving those left to grieve.

However, the charity says it is often the case that people do not share their thoughts, feelings or how there is a huge struggle to readjust to a different world.

The caring Community Seminar will aim to provide a platform to explore what is perceived as a difficult subject.

Do you lead an organisation that deals with people who will experience these life challenges?

Are you a manager who would like to understand end of life care issues?

Do you find it difficult to have these conversations both professionally and personally?

Would having more knowledge support you deal with this life situation?

As part of Accord’s ongoing care service, it is inviting people to the event to explore how people can change and become more caring in our communities, organisations, work and family groups.

The cost for this seminar will be £40 and can be booked at www. accord.org.uk

The seminar is being held at Abercorn Conference Centre, Paisley PA3 4DR, on Tuesday, October 8, at 9.30am.
