A man was left drenched in blood after he was glassed by a thug in a Paisley boozer.

The 44-year-old victim was kicked in the chest and then struck with an empty tumbler in O’Connor’s Irish Bar in Paisley’s St James’ Street.

Detectives say they are hunting a tall bald man over the violent attack, which happened just before 9pm on Sunday.

Officers say the lout first kicked the victim before hurling the glass at his head.

Police are carrying out a review of CCTV footage and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
