Elysium the most glam of them all

A Paisley business is celebrating being named the best beauty salon in Renfrewshire at an awards ceremony.

Elysium Beauty opened its doors in November 2013 in Foxbar Road, Paisley. It has grown from one member of staff to four in the last year.

Chlöe Boyd started the business from her own home in September 2015 before moving it into its own premises.

And earlier this month, the business was named Beast Beauty Salon at the Renfrewshire Business Awards at the Glynhill Hotel in Renfrew.

Chlöe said: ”This is an amazing achievement for a salon in Paisley to win for this category open to many salons within the Renfrewshire area.

“There are many salons within Paisley town centre, who are seen daily by passing trade who are driving, walking or riding the bus.

“Elysium Beauty is unlike these other salons.

“Elysium Beauty resides in a residential area, on a small row of shops, amongst other businesses such as local takeaways and cafes, and we don’t receive the same passing trade from the public.

“We have built the business up via social media platforms and fantastic client recommendations, who are always so supportive.

“Our diary is typically fully booked two to three weeks in advance and we have a strong and supportive local following from our clients.

“If it wasn’t for them voting us into the public nominations, we would not have reached the final, let alone win the category.”

The business is now in the Scottish finals which will be held in May 2020.
