Under pressure, Danny Grainger’s slack backpass was short to Cornell.

The keeper threw a boot at the ball, but his meagre clearance made it no further than Doran waiting at the 18-yard line.

Left with virtually an open goal, the wide- man made no mistake as he knocked home to double his side’s advantage.

Danny Lennon’s side were in disarray and, with less an hour on the clock, they conceded a killer third.

Inverness right-back David Raven had time to pick his cross which was met by McKay to glance home.

With 10 minutes to go, a bad day got even worse for Saints as van Zanten was ordered off for a second yellow card after bringing down the impressive Nick Ross.
