LOOKING BACK AT A CLASSIC SAINTS ENCOUNTER:

The sun shone brightly as super Saints toasted Championship success in front of a sellout Paisley crowd.
And on a day where the football didn’t exactly matter, St Mirren showed no intentions of taking their foot of the gas as they romped to victory over fierce rivals Greenock Morton.
Goals from Danny Mullen and Lewis Morgan proved to be the difference over the course of an enthralling 90 minutes - but Saturday was about more than just the football.
It was a celebration for everything that this club has achieved over the course of a breakneck season which has blown away the doubters at each and every turn.
From the first game to the last, it has pretty much been a season filled with joy.
Long gone are the wasted weekends, long forgotten the lonely trips home wondering what despair was next around the corner. Admit it, the last three years haven’t always been easy.

It can’t be understated just how much of a difference the club’s singing section has made to the ground this season.
As a result, the small band of hardy Morton fans didn’t stand a chance of being heard.
But even if they were singing, they were soon silenced inside 10 minutes as Saints raced into the lead in their trademark free-flowing fashion.
Celtic- bound Morgan, playing his last game at the Paisley 2021 Stadium before making the switch to Parkhead, showed no signs of going out with a whimper as he kick-started a man of the match performance with a fine assist.
Collecting the ball 30 yards from goal, the Scotland Under-21 international produced a moment of
