Lager is Buddie brilliant
St Mirren fans can enjoy a pint of a stadium favourite while they cheer on their team from home.
The club has recently launched a new batch of Lerwick Brewery’s Buddie Lager, allowing fans to recreate some of the SMiSA stadium atmosphere from the comfort of their own home.
Buddie Lager was originally released in 2014. Campbell Kennedy, commercial director at St Mirren, said:“With lockdown restrictions giving fans no option but to watch games from home, we thought it would be the perfect time to bring back this fan favourite.
“Buddie Lager is brewed by Lerwick Brewery, based in the Shetland Isles.
“The relationship with St Mirren goes back many years, initially though an association with the Brewery’s sister company Rearo Laminates, which has been a principal sponsor of the club for the past 15 years.”
Lerwick Brewery, the UK’s most northerly brewery, produces a wide range of craft beers.

“We are proud sponsors of St Mirren and even designed and manufactured all the wall boarding for the prestigious players’tunnel project.
