Pull your trainers on and donate to Accord

A 5k fundraiser is being organised by Paisley’s Accord Hospice.

Fitness fans are being asked to do the run then pledge £5 to the hospice on its JustGiving page.

People can take part in the 5KMay event individually or as part of a team.

A spokeswoman said: “You can run, walk, roll or cycle and be socially distanced.

“We are also keen for schools to get involved and is can be carried out any time during May.

“It’s the perfect challenge to give back to a cause close to the hearts of many.”

The hospice is also asking for photos of participants to be posted on Twitter with the tag @accordhospice

The spokeswoman added: “If people send in snaps with how much their team has raised, we can showcase this on our social media.

“On completion, there is a goodie bag filled with rewards.”
