HANDS UP FOR HEALTH WEEK

The Paisley Daily Express is today sharing the second edition of pictures from Gleniffer Nursery’s Health Week.

The children aged three to five were last week focusing on all aspects of healthy living such as eating good food and being active.

The tots were introduced to gardening and growing their own food with the launch of the nursery’s very own growing garden.

They had the opportunity to plant seeds which will hopefully produce an abundance of fresh vegetables to eat at meal times throughout the year.

They have also been learning what is good for their bodies through the eat well to play well plate.

And they had no shortage of activities to take part in with a sports day hosted every single day of the week-long project.

The young athletes took part in obstacle courses, running, races and football in which they all received certificates for their stellar efforts.
