Crimes solved

One third of all reported crime in Erskine last month has been solved.

The April meeting of Erskine Community Council heard 39 crimes were reported to police, with 13 detected.

Nine thefts included two cars being stolen and one case of fuel stealing.

Two members of the public and one police officer were attacked and there were three incidents of threatening behaviour.

There were four frauds and only one reported breach of Covid-19 regulations.
