Paisley builders bag big contract

Paisley builders JR Group have been hired to construct a 44-home development on the edge of Tollcross Park in Glasgow’s east end.

Shettleston Housing Association has secured detailed planning consent to transform the site of a former primary school into a familyfocussed development.

JR Group won the contract following competitive tender for 19 flats, 17 houses and eight cottage flats.

Andrew Dallas, project director for The JR Group, said: “We’re over the moon to have won the construction contract for this exciting project. This is the first time we have worked with Shettleston Housing Association and we’re delighted to be striking up a working relationship with them.”
