Safety restrictions – including clamping down on the number of visitors – will be in force when Braehead’s XSite reopens on Monday.
Restaurants and retail will be back at the fun-filled hub, as well as trampoline park Gravity.
But the ski slope, amusement arcades, adventure golf and cinema have to remain shut in line with Scottish government restrictions.
Bosses at the centre, which was renamed following a buy-out last year, say staff and businesses can’t wait till Monday.
Manager Bruce Harley said: “The best thing will be welcoming back customers and reminding them of the incredible experiences they’ve been missing out on.”
Restaurant bookings have surged and the full raft of diners, from TGI Fridays and Nando’s to Pizza Express, will be back in action for tables of up to six.
All retail stores branded non essential will also reopen on Monday
Bruce added: “Our team and stores will be doing everything they can to ensure the safety of our customers, and a number of measures remain in place.
“These include limits on groups of people, regular temperature checking of staff, reduced touchpoints, thorough cleaning schedules of the building, mandatory face coverings and hand sanitiser stations throughout.
“Further changes will come on May 17 when Level 2 means all cinemas and amusement arcades can reopen.
“We’ve heard from many of our staff and customers who are eagerly awaiting the next phase of the easing of lockdown restrictions.
“I, for one, cannot wait to see many more of our attractions, shops and restaurants reopen their doors so that we can return to doing what we love and our customers can enjoy a welldeserved day out.”
He said the “future looks very bright” for the former XScape and Soar INTU complex.
It will have slightly reduced operating hours in the meantime to comply with hospitality curfews.
