Birthday girl Stacey Jamieson raised a glass with family and friends to celebrate her 30th as pubs, restaurants, gyms and shops reopened across Renfrewshire yesterday.
The Paisley woman was celebrating the special occasion with her chosen party of six as the town’s Abbey Inn beer garden reopened for business.
She was first in line for a table, saying the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions across the country had been “timed perfectly”.
The Abbey Inn was among dozens of pubs, restaurants, gyms and non- essential shops that opened their doors for the first time this year. Business owners and customers alike sought to shake off a traumatic 13 months as people were finally able to enjoy a workout with friends, a meal with loved ones and to browse their favourite stores.
