Killie need to focus on Premiership survival

- The looks on the faces of Kilmarnock players says it all

It’s fair to say that it’s been a hard slog for Kilmarnock supporters at times this season, so much so, that the Rugby Park faithful may be grateful they haven’t been able to take their seats inside the stadium for the entirety of the campaign so far.

Tommy Wright was brought into the club earlier this year with the club just four points above bottom side Hamilton.

Despite being only one point better off just now, with a manager who has already won this competition and 90 minutes away from a semi final, Killie fans could have been forgiven for dreaming.

But, in all honesty, there’s much more pressing concerns for those at the Ayrshire club in the next few weeks.

First and foremost, to make sure that they retain their Premiership status and then recruit well over the summer to give Wright a chance to bring back better times next season.
