Brian’s back with face to face tuition
A music academy has managed to come through the worst of the pandemic shutdown and get its doors back open.
Brian Laurie Paisley Academy of Music survived with the help of ongoing tuition by Zoom.
And the academy’s Judy Brunton said:“The showband sadly missed its performances in Cologne, Germany, last April as the trip was cancelled due to covid travel restrictions.
“But we ares hoping to get back to weekly practices in September, if not before, and then make Germany next year.
“Brian’s pupils are delighted to be back to face to face lessons and the academy still offers a free trial lesson across all instruments.
“All ages are most welcome and we are delighted after 22 years of supporting young people from Renfrewshire and surrounding areas to go on and become successful in the music industry.
“Brian is just glad this can continue.”
