Game on for charity
Online gamers from across Renfrewshire are being encouraged to fundraise as they play their part in a drive for more inclusion in gaming.
The RNIB is inviting supporters who enjoy online gaming to host fundraising livestreams on or around May 20.
The date is Global Accessibility Awareness Day, which focuses on digital access and inclusion for people with disability and impairment.
RNIB’s community giving manager Becca McRowBrewer said: “Games rely largely on visuals. But blind and partially sighted people are also active gamers, they just need the help of accessibility features.
“Sight loss doesn’t have to mean losing your passions.”
