Police in appeal as search for missing man goes on

-

Police in Paisley are continuing to appeal for the assistance of the public in tracing a 34- year- old man missing since Friday.

Phu Cu Cao, a Vietnamese national, was last seen around 3.20pm on Friday afternoon in Christie Street, Paisley.

He is described as 5ft 7in tall, with short black hair and was wearing a grey baseball cap, a black zipper fleece, black jogging bottoms and blue and grey Reebok trainers.

He may also have a red ‘puffer’ style jacket with him.

Enquiries so far have suggested a man matching his description was seen asking people for directions on Glasgow Road in Paisley on Friday, 30 April.

He is known to travel so police are urging anyone who believes they may have seen him at any time since Friday anywhere in the country to come forward.

Sergeant Kane, of Paisley Police Station, said: “We want to make sure Phu Cu Cao is safe and well and would encourage him, or anyone who knows where he is, to get in touch with officers at Paisley Police Station via 101.

“We would be keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen him or if you may have spoken to him on Glasgow Road last Friday to get in touch.

“Please quote reference number 2612 of 30 April, 2021 when calling 101 with any information.”
