‘We will dare to dream’
Delighted St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson insists his side have already pulled off a remarkable achievement just by reaching the Scottish Cup final.
While the Perth side’s fans can dare to dream of an impressive cup double having already lifted the League Cup, the manager believes they’re already winners whatever happens in their clash with Hibs.
He said:“For a club like St Johnstone just to get to two cup finals is incredible. It hasn’t been done before.
“We’ll now try and prepare and get everybody right up for the final. Up until now, I hadn’t even thought about what it would mean. It was a really good game and I’m just glad we were the ones to get through in the end.
“My players were magnificent for me. They showed their spirit again and just kept on going.
“Hopefully we get the all clear from covid this week and we can crack on with a full squad.
“You won’t see me for six weeks if we do win it!”
