Nominate schools for £5k of books

Parents across Renfrewshire can nominate their child’s school to win a library full of books.

National Book Tokens has launched this year’s prize draw giving one school the chance to win £ 5,000 of tokens for its library.

And if your entry is picked, you’ll receive £100 of National Book Tokens to spend on yourself.

A spokesperson said: “A good school library isn’t just important for academic achievement. Reading for pleasure also improves children’s well- being – something our children need now more than ever before.”

The closing date is Saturday, July 31 and the winner will be announced in the autumn term.
