Tyred of this mess

A garage is the chief suspect after a mountain of tyres was left dumped on a country road.

The mess was discovered on Fereneze Road near Neilston.

The quiet spot is off Lochlibo Road and the dozens of tyres would have to have been on a truck or in a van.

They were removed yesterday for disposal by East Renfrewshire Council.

A spokeswoman said:“Flytipping like this is a blight on our community.

“We would encourage residents to report any incidents via our website or by calling our free, confidential Ring and Report hotline on 0800 013 0076.”
