Competition is a feast for the eyes
Talented amateur photographers at Paisley Colour Photographic Club have come to the end of their winter session.
They marked this with the final competition of the year, the Henderson, which was won by Alison Smart.
Her impressive set of three images, entitled Lone Fisherman In The Floating Gardens, Fisherman In The Floating Gardens 3 and Reading Monk caught the eye.
In second place was Neill Ross.
His set of three images comprised Sentry, Flying High and The Inbetweener.
Third place went to Charles
Hamilton with his trio of portraits - Lawrence Dunn, Trongate; Blanche, Trongate and Alan Tanner ,Govanhill.
Judge for the evening was Clive Watkin, from Irvine Camera Club.
The best overall image from the competition, selected by Clive, was Margaret Rainey’s High Plains Montana.
Previous to the Henderson competition, was the club’s third and final bimonthly competition which was won by Charles Hamilton with Lawrence Dunn, Trongate.
In second place came Duncan MacDonald with his Rhododendron Stamens .
Third place went to Rainy Day in Autumn by Mike Cruise.
