Still time to donate to charity

Art lovers in Renfrewshire have until the end of the month to get their hands on one-of-a-kind paintings to help raise cash for a Paisley hospice.

The online art exhibition has already raised thousands of pounds for Accord Hospice and there are still a number of pieces available with two weeks left to go. Fundraisers are hoping art lovers will snap up the remaining paintings before the exhibition closes at the end of May.

Fundraiser Vanessa Robinson said: “I was amazed and touched by the generosity and help provided by our artists.

“The hospice has been hit hard by the pandemic, with very few of our events able to take place and our shops unable to open.

“A huge thank- you to everyone who has supported our virtual events over the last year. Also, a huge thank-you should go to the artists who donated.”
