Cops probe stab attack

A man has sustained serious injuries following a stabbing in Erskine.

The 35-year-old was slashed during the attack at Maxwell Drive at around 9pm on Saturday night.

He was taken to the Royal Alexandra

Hospital in Paisley where he remains in a stable condition.

His injuries are not life threatening. Police investigating the serious assault say enquiries are ongoing.

They are appealing for all those with information in relation to the attack to come forward.
