Peter is happy to be a Buddie
Young Saints goalkeeper Peter Urminsky will continue his progress in Paisley after agreeing a one-year contract extension.
The six-foot-five Slovakian stopper joined the Buddies in January last year on an 18-month deal after leaving Spartak Trnava in his homeland.
The 21-year-old featured in a number of squads throughout the season and is hoping to develop further over the next year with an ambition to make his firstteam debut.
Peter joined secondtier side Ayr United on loan in Februar y and gained valuable experience, including playing 90 minutes against Arbroath.
Peter will continue to work with the club’s coaching staff, particularly goalkeeping coach Jamie Langfield and head of goalkeeping Ross Paterson, as he looks to build on the development he’s made since joining the club last year.
Manager Jim Goodwin said: “Peter is still a young lad and has developed well in his time at the club.
“We look forward to him continuing his progress and working with our first-team goalkeepers Jak Alnwick and Dean Lyness next season.”
